It will probably be a material which will become dated. Given the number of programmes on TV dealing with renovations on limited budgets (not the rubbish ones where it is a game show in a different format) it is becoming a 'fad' material so in the future a plywood interior will be dated to the early 21st century. The material just like colours will go out of favour and back again in cycles.

Hi Luke, love your question. Love and Loathe are very strong opinions. I think chromes ok! Just fiiiiiiine. Don't love it, probably wouldn't want it in my own kitchen. But don't loathe it. I like the pendants in your photo but prefer the chrome in this kitchen - same lights, just fresher/brighter colours!

Hi there, I think the main thing to stick to is choosing one way to tie each room together, whether you do that via colour, shape, pattern, etc. It's also important to be mindful of features in each room - you don't want to walk in and be bombarded with more than your eye can take. You want an awesome feature and then everything trails behind that :)
