Hi Nicole. This is a very good question, and the simple answer is, it is possible, but it totally depends on the tile. Ensure that it is fit for purpose, and ask the suppliers for data sheets on the tiles to confirm slip ratings and other information before settling on a product. Good luck!

If the hexagon tiles are to be the feature then the wall tiles should not draw attention to themselves. I would go with stacked horizontal as this will make the small room seem wider and it will be a simple grout pattern that won't try and compete with the hexagon mosaic. Thanks for this Caroline. I talked to a tiler last week and he argued that you could not clean the tiles without fracturing and spider-webbing the surfaces, so I probably have to find a different way to use them. A pity! Hilary
