Black and white floor tiles are a classic design option Maggie. As with everything they will not be to everyones taste but they are timeless and the overall look of your room can be updated/altered with different accessories. The tiles you have pictured will give you a more contemporary look than black and white checkers.

you can take any chrome fitting to an electroplating company and they can plate them black we do this for our items when a client prefers a particular style of waste. you can have chrome and black there is tapware for sale with both.

Hi there, Depending how many tiles you have, a feature wall would be a great use for polished granite, particularly behind the vanity & mirror. With the right lighting it will have the opposite effect of small & gloomy = spacious, chic and sophisticated. Also the size of the tile can contribute to that "small" feeling but 305mm sq is large enough not to. Keeping them on the walls will also help your budget as not needing to apply a non-slip coating.
