Anyone has installed this on any of their homes?

    Yeah just a shame it, would have been cook but companies just try and bump the price up up i reckon it should only be $200/light installed.

    Looks pretty straight forward, and the two wire bus almost looks like it might be DALI based.

    But it really shouldn't cost so much. I'm going to try to get subcomponent prices to get a feel for hardware costs per point.

    I rang clipsal and got prices off them and they are not that expensive, around $150/light including led driver, so you only need to add wifi gateway and main on/off switch which is less than $500.

    All up with mine should have only cost around $6K installed with approx 28 lights.

    Would love to bear what you've come up with your project.

    I have to leave mine for now and maybe do it on my next house build :(.

    It's so hard to find info online for this stuff. So far I haven't had much luck calling clipsal. I'm untested to know how extensible it is.

    They point blank told me (online web chat) that they can't give me the price. :-(
