Comments (11)I really like the storage ideas, suggested here; as we ha d a small flat, which had a built-in storage area under the stairs. Looked good and was very useful and practical. If you don't need a storage, I can imagine a cosy reading corner; a comfy sofa, where you can either sit or lie down, scatter cushions...if enough space, you can put a bookshelf behind the sofa. As a powerpoint already there, you can stand a nice-looking, practical lamp; for reading or to create a pleasant atmosphere :) Good luck!...See MoreWhat can I do with this space under the staircase?
Comments (1)Hi Michelle, I will just presume that this is an interior staircase - of which there are multiple options to build out with shelving, wine racks, or conceal into hidden storage. Have a look through some of our previous jobs to get an idea of how we treat this void space. Best of luck!...See MoreWhat can I put under this mirror?
Comments (8)I was also going to say a gloss black table or similar , but then I thought something doesn't quite look right . Maybe do the side window and skirting in gloss black too , but then I looked even closer , and I think you've got it set up wrong . The door opens 'the other way' , and it looks like stairs there too , so without seeing the whole room , how about moving the mirror to the wall we can't see , and you'd then want it on its own for space reasons . If the side we can see looks too bare , then the gloss black skirtings and side glass trick would work , maybe a planter or large pot with several plants , maybe an abstract picture on the wall -- that would bring in colour and interest , fill the space , but also as it's reflected , it would be almost double the impact !...See MoreVy
