Love them! As long as they have a dimmer switch. Be careful though, if they open from the top, rather than from the bottom, you will end up with a puddle of insects inside the globe. Take it from me, that is a real pain.

What a sumptuous colour! Looks very beautiful & cozy at night with the lamp on! Perhaps add a couple additional complimentary coloured pillows on your bed... Agree that you need something to soften the window. The blind does look a bit out of place. But you could camouflage it with some soft filmy curtains in a soft rosy colour. Good work! A great colour really lifts the spirits!!

i noticed the chairs for the dark colour, but also that7 they can actually be used at the island bench as there is enough space to sit properly unlike a lot of kitchens that have no where to put your legs at the bench

Hi Kate, I have to agree with you, I absolutely hate that mint green so I feel for you that it just doesn't suit your colour scheme irrespective of how much others suggest this green and blue might go together, personally I don't like blue either so I might not be much help there ha-ha I do think the suggestion of placing a mirror over the splashback could be the best option so that you don't run the risk of damaging any part of the kitchen trying to remove it and I think a mirror could look amazing, catch the light and obviously make the room look bigger too.
