I think the white and charcoal will look great. Go a soft slightly blue charcoal like Dulux Monument. If you want a different option, I've seen a soft olive (Deluxe Mudpack or similar?) look great and quite modern with those bricks also. It completely changes the look of a facade as it makes the timber trims blend in subtly with the brickwork rather than being the first thing you see.

We have a backyard with 2 x Colorbond 'Monument' fences alreacy in place! We are about to replace our other old timber fence! Looking to soften the look before landscaping and planting round a new pool! Looking for advice in fencing colours to complement tge 'monument' everywhere out back! Basalt or Shale grey etc?? Even neighbours hv monument everywhere (ie roofing, guttering etc - as well as our shared fencing already mentioned! Thoughts?

Hi L Shum. I think it depends on the style and colour/s of your house, whether it's brick, weatherboard, or other cladding, and where the planters will be placed in relation to it. ?? Not knowing this, I'll suggest there are lots of warmer whites you might like to sample: Antique White USA, Natural White, White Duck, White Duck Quarter....

With such a large house I think it would need some other darker colour along with white to help "ground" the look. Also, as mentioned above, pure white on an exterior looks very glarey - surfmist would be perfect. I would strongly suggest getting a colour consultant to help with such a large project - and get some mock-ups done with different colour ideas.
