Certainly no problem with the sizes as it will look great. Cedar will also look fantastic. Only issue I can see is that it's a 'custom made door'. This could potentially be very expensive to have made. There are many companies that make standard sized pivot door systems. Hume Doors while being a mass producer of doors have a Pivot Door System. They're available in Cedar. The width's are available up to 1650 but the overall height is 2460 which is less than your 2600. These are quite expensive so a custom made item could be even more so. Worthwhile getting costings from a company that can provide an off the shelf item then compare it to a custom made item. Keeping in mind there are various mechanism's available. Some are self closing so they use a different mechanism for that, while others use a very basic pivot hinge. I would also have a chat with the architect and see if they have allowed enough room to fit the self close system in. If you purchase a custom made door with the self close it may not fit the space.

I guess regardless of whether it is a single 1800 (4 door) or 2 x 900mm (2 door) the issue of the doors banging is an issue. but the 2 sinks are at one end so i can't ever imagine doors banging will be an issue really. my main concern is whether 600mm is too big for a single door (and the need to step back out of the way when opening the door)

When choosing a front door just don't consider the door, but the whole door frame. Often sidelight and highlight windows can contribute to the appeal of the entry, and bring lots of light into your entry hall, even when your door is closed. You will also need to consider the proportion of the door width to the height. I think that a standard 820mm wide door that is 2700mm high looks too skinny. If you are going for a high door then it should be proportionally wider. Here is a photo of a custom made timber door that is 3 metres tall, and 1.2m wide in Blackbutt which weights 130kgs. When you get to this size and weight then you need to consider the hinging carefully. The door was crafted and installed by Dr Retro's friends at Sawdust Timber Furniture. Expensive, but worth every dollar as it makes such a great impression.

Hi everyone, I have narrowed my choices down to 3 scenarios and have done a very rough sketch of each scenario. I was wondering if someone is able to provide me with a 3D visual of the 3 ideas to see if they will work as I do not know how to do this? Scenario 1 - Single pantry on either side of fridge, with a gap on the left side for clearance from the entry and on the right side a narrow wine/book storage cabinet with open shelves at the top and closed door at bottom (see picture attached). Scenario 2 - double pantry on left side with gap on left for entry clearance and fridge on right side with narrow wine /book shelf to the right of the fridge. Scenario 3 - single pantry on left side of long wall with gap on left of fridge and on right side of fridge a corner counter top with open corner shelving and a gap on the end of the right side (short wall) for entry door clearance.
