Pool living

Hi all. Looking for ideas from the brains trust for a deck and covered area to finish off our pool landscape. Looking for something modern and tropical that hearts some timber. Thinking about building a deck the covers the foot end of the pool coping with an LED strip light to add dimension and interest. Any other ideas would be much appreciated.

Depends on where you live. A lap pool down a large deck gives the best of both worlds and provides a nice water feature for a deck. I need water to truly relax. Bigreader - where in FNQ did you live?

All trees drop leaves. Clumping bamboo would give you the quickest result but sheds heaps. Privacy vs pool maintenance is the decision.
