The owners of this Perth home contacted Amerex at a busy
time in their lives. With a toddler in tow, they had another child on the way. This
top to toe renovation and addition included a major extension at the rear of
the house. Creating a natural flow from the indoors to the outdoors was the
stand-out achievement of this project. The extension at the rear of the home opens
out onto the new Alfresco and deck area.

A separate home office has been added on. This opens out
onto the green space, and invites you to lie in the hammock under the shade of
the tree. This is probably not conducive to getting lots of work done!

The new swimming pool has glass fencing which allows visibility
so that children can be supervised from the alfresco area. Plenty of open green
grass has also been retained to provide plenty of play area for the kids.

The brief from the owners was to retain the mature tree, so
the design worked with this. The mature tree now provides welcome shade from
the harsh north sun during the heat of the day, and ensures that the Alfresco
area is usable at all times of the day.

Mission complete. A much more usable outdoor area has been
achieved. The outdoors areas are now inviting, comfortable, and a delight for a
young family to enjoy.
