Use narrow spacing for canned goods, more for cereal and even more for bulk paper towels. Top part of pantry used for crock pot, roaster, etc. Full extension Blumotion soft close glides rated 100 lbs.

Depends on where you live. A lap pool down a large deck gives the best of both worlds and provides a nice water feature for a deck. I need water to truly relax. Bigreader - where in FNQ did you live?

what's your climate, will you ever want to roof over the pool, are there any external doors along the back of the house that need to be excluded from the pool area, is there an external door for a quick dash to the bathroom from the patio and garden without having to go through the new fenced in pool area, are there any trees that will become a future problem for the new pool?? a rough site plan would help answer these questions

Hi PC, You dont mention where you are, so dont know which pool fencing regulations will apply to you. Whilst there are not really any rules about the space within the fence, there are restrictions on how close to windows, boundary fences and other climable objects. Generally we aim for minimum areas inside the fence for safety reasons. You definitely should consider if you will allow glass in the pool fence area as a broken bottle or glass is a major safety hazard in the pool, as the glass can be impossible to see. You generally end up having to drain the pool to ensure all the glass is vacummed up. Not a fun exercise. You may also need some temporary fencing whilst you move the permanent fence too.
