Need Help creating a new kitchen, ideas?
Comments (38)Samantha B I just completed my kitchen Reno in Perth. My pantry was also bricked up like yours. Literally doubled the space by getting rid of it but we found out after that the pantry was structural & we had to put an extra support beam in the roof instead ($800) so be careful of that! We completely moved the plumbing, gas & electrics & it only cost a few hundred! So don't be afraid to do that as long as u know decent priced tradies! We ended up doing nearly everything ourselves & went with a masters flat packed kitchen & sourced our own stone benchtops dirt cheap ($2500 installed for a 2m bench & a 1.5m island each with one waterfall edge.). Heres before & after pics....See MoreHelp me select new kitchen bench tops
Comments (5)Out of the 3, I like White Star. Does it seem to have a pale green to it? I hope so, it would be a fresh look. I would put a radius on the end of the peninsula, if there is room to pass. I'd hide the garbage can, get a new eye- catching faucet and larger sink. I know the dish towels are just drying, but I wouldn't cover up your nice stainless ovens. Perhaps relocate the wall phone to a small counter phone. A roman shade in a light cotton or linen, mounted right under the crown molding would look great and cover the solar shade. Declutter the countertops, limiting the items to a coffee maker and perhaps 2 other items. I think it will look like a new kitchen! Post pictures after, please!...See MoreHelp! Which colours go with these bathroom tiles?
Comments (78)That is a hard one with those tiles. I would have to think if you did a white, it would kind of work with the colour of your tiles. At the end of the day, they do need to be replaces, but as you said, due to budgeting reasons, you cannot, I can pass on this photo of a nice bathroom with those tiles for you though for inspiration... : )...See MoreNeed advice on kitchen colours
Comments (4)Sounds quite good. I love basic black and white. But will it suit the rest of the house? Take holistic approach to see if it will be a good fit. It may need decorative doors and panelling rather than plain and featureless like a minimalist fit out. Start choosing the doors at the same time as looking at colours....See MoreChris C
