What colour extension table are you interested in what type of style Just noticed your couches are are dark brown and the dark floor closes up your space A bit hard to suggest chairs as I can't see what theme or style your house is to match what theme are you looking to achieve I would prob by a white gloss table and have either off chairs or light grey fabric chairs and buy a light grey couch Not sure of your budget but The brown couch you already have makes your place feel small and clashes with your floorboards My suggestion would be to get a new couch and dining table to match would make that space feel revived and fresh it's hard to match a table to that space with that brown couch

May I suggest you have the table cut to size. With the piece cut out, the cabinet maker will be able to use this as an insert that slides under the table, so you can open the table to original size for xmas or any special function. I had this done on our table many years ago. I love that I can change the size by just sliding it open. Not sure if you can see the lines in this photo. Our friend did it for us and he placed two inserts in it. It goes from an 6 to 8 to 10 in a touch of a button. Sorry the photo won't download? Good luck

oklouise's solution is the logical choice "depending on dimensional accuracy". However the dining width dimension looks inaccurate. I would seek clarification on what the dining dimensio ns are actually measuring. I would have assumed the width was from the front edge of the breakfast bar to the raised ceiling, which looks a lot less than 4 metres. Get your dimensions right before buying furniture!
