There are many pink granites that look very similar. Below is a website which has good pictures and information on granites by colour range. I've already seen some that look very close to the one on your photo. Desert rose (Australia) and Belmont rose are similar, so are a few others from China. Learn Sketchup is on my to do list. I use the IKEA and Reece online tools, which are good for quick mockups to help visualise the space with basic 3D rendering, but they can be a bit buggy and of course only have their own products to work with. I use Illustrator and photoshop for quick plans and mockups too, but only because I have a graphic design background.

We have black tiles in our house because we like black. We also have wooden floors. The kitchen is birch with laminate black granite bench tops. Our open plan works perfectly with the different floors because we have stayed with timber and black. Howver I love colour so we have incorporated red dining chairs and mustard and black cushions and rug in our family room. Timber look floor tiles are a great option, realistic and easy to clean. For you, the most important thing is to decide what you really want and go for it.

Hi 1991_kid, though this image may be a render, the stone tops do represent an actual material. You may like to look at the Natural Stone type called Quartzite. Quartzite comes in smaller slab sized that Granite and Man Made Quartz Reconstituted stone slabs and it is very hard (unlike marble) and comes in a variety of different colours. Quartzite stone slabs do come in various types of Grey and does come in a type that has a formation which looks similar to your image. Perhaps something like the Atlantic Stone Quartzite or the Taj Mahal Quartzite or the Grey Cristallo Extra Quartzite. Hope this is of help, Malcolm
