I have not. I would not do it because too many things can go wrong and once you're stuck with a damaged product you have to do battle with the company to have it replaced or repaired, with more costs involved. Are you a professional? I use my local To the Trade Only resource centre for nearly everything because items I order are received locally at a full service warehouse. If there's something wrong, there are experts here who can detail the pieces, or we order replacements from the company. If you have a good relationship with the manufacturers you order from, as I do, then your complaints are heard. If you are dealing with a huge company like Wayfair, you aren't dealing with the manufacturers and you're subject to their customer service standards (which I have no knowledge about). I think it's far too risky. Besides, costs really do add up when you are charged the American dollar differential, duty and freight. Your cost could more than double the price of the item. So should the oldies have a proper meal. My parents were quite vulnerable to eating a poor diet as they aged, with no one to take them in hand. I'm determined that won't happen to us. Plus, I spent a fair bit of my life in places where you ate what was available seasonally, so it was all fresh and unprocessed and had actual flavour. (Of course, in some of those places, you were desperate for anything even remotely green by the end of winter!) I also spent a good part of my life eating fruit and veggies trucked several thousand km from California or Florida to Canada. Been there, done that, never again. Eating apples that have been in cold storage for months, or tomatoes that have travelled hundreds of kilometres, or someone's idea of a 21st century version of the old TV dinner, just doesn't cut it with me. As much as possible, local produce, my own herbs, and meat from a reliable local butcher. Frozen peas, beans, even spinach and broccoli, fine, all good,along with canned tomatoes and beans. But that's where I draw the line. Life is too short to be eating mediocre food just because it's convenient.

The worst part about my stainless steel fridge is that magnets don't stick on the front. I have to blu tac my kids art and other memories to the front of it. I think a few things on the fridge makes a house look like a home...
