We are doing lots of renovations on this big old home. We looking for ideas for the balcony/ terrace. We would like to close it into a kitchen sunroom. Knock out the two windows to the left to open up and make a large open space . The balcony/ terrace is 75 Square meters. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

I don't think moving the TV would be completely out of the question , and that is the first thing I'd consider . Basically , you have everything along one wall at present , as well as the couch on the opposite side -- that's why it looks cramped . Basically , if you moved that semi-round cabinet to the corner near where the couch is now , pull the coach a bit 'this way' , move the TV up and to the right , so it's beside the window rather than below it , spread the 3 white cabinets so it looks more spacious , then maybe hove the computer over to the wall with the wider window , and trim the curtain so it doesn't drag across the computer screens -- it will look a lot less cluttered and be more workable IMO . And personally -- I wouldn't add heaps of bookcases -- maybe 1 single row shelf above the couch , with your favourite or most interesting looking or most expensive books on it -- people will still be able to work out you can read from that haha . You don't want to make the room look smaller ,and thats what a wall of books or even a couple of bookcases will do .

Adding black accents could look beautiful, a gorgeous stool, luxe accessories, fabulous towels, you could add minimalist artwork in thin black frames for above the bath, could look beautiful.

How many do you need to seat at the one time? I think the plan sketch provides the best option. I too have a chaise lounge, and it’s a mistake it takes up room without adding seating.
