What does your kitchen need most?
Comments (3)Like many people these days, we are a gadget family. They would have a lot more use if they were lined up behind the workbench attached to electrical outlets. The chore of getting them out of drawers and setting them up to use is definitely one of my least favourite tasks in the kitchen. We're now thinking of having the upstand part of the wall overlooking the family room removed and extending the depth of the benchtop to have them all lined up ready to use every day. Now our only problem is finding someone to do this work. Most kitchen companies want to only do the whole kitchen, and aren't interested in anything less, so make their quotes far too high for the work we need done, and even suggest that we replace the whole kitchen which is only 3 years old....See MoreWhich kitchen style is your favourite?
Comments (7)Which one is that, Astrid? 1, 2, 3 or 4? Petal & I both liked 2 and 4 but the extent of glass (and the necessary cleaning) in 4 put Petal off, while the mortuary feel of all that stainless steel put me off. 2 doesn't really excite us either but it's the best of a questionable lot. ;-)...See Morecontemporary classic kitchen

Comments (5)The upper cabinets look odd and looks like it cuts off prematurely. Also the random range in the middle of the wall. The bechtop needs to go like wise with the backsplash. I cant really see, but are the tiles going all the way up to the bottom of the upper cabinets? Strip the upper cabinets and have open shelving Paint the tile or get stick on tiles that can go over the current. Go and get a laminate benchtop from bunnings or ikea....See Moresiriuskey
