Paint the front door orange and the door and glass frames monument to match the windows. The dark colour will make your door pop. Our framework is black to match windows.

I have a really lovely plum toned pink picked out which goes perfectly with the bricks, but haven't  been able to convince hubby to have pink door. I know I would love your orange front door

A nice warm timber stain would look lovely

As you said monument would look classy or a timber stain, but hey if you love an orange door then have what makes you happy, add some gorgeous planters, either dark or orange as a contrast to the door, lovely home.

Thx Julie, I'd love to stain it, however there a different species of timber, old & new also. So I think stain is out. I've always been a timber person so I'm going to try something different.

Yes timber might be out then, but paint it the colour that makes you smile each time you you put the key in the door, it’s what makes you happy is the most important thing, the pink door sounds gorgeous, get a large paint swatch to convince hubby, sometimes they need a little push in the right direction ❤️

I love the orange! I think it would lovely with the sandy tones of brick and your green lush gardens :)

What about monument door with an orange plant like ‘red hot poker’ or a green plant in an orange planter.
