Just as a matter of interest , which parts have you painted white ? A photo would be good haha . I hate painted driveways -- I think they look artifical and tacky , they can peel and look even worse -- I can't think of a positive personally . I'd waterblast or chemical clean ( DIY or get a pro ) and even if not perfect , it has character ! When that 'character' turns to cracks and weeds growing through and puddles then you dig up and re-do , or resurface in some cases , but I'm not a fan of resurfacing either . In other words , I think the driveway isn't too bad -- I could even live with the existing tiles if all the feature fittings were white . Yes , I know , they are slippery and you say cracked -- the bits I can see they look like they'd last a couple more years ? To me , I'd be more inclined to change the garage doors ( or paint if tidy enough ) before I did those tiles , but you know their condition , and your priorities and budget .

I guess the first question is what do you want to achieve ?Do you want a more modern look , or a more useful space ? In other words , looks or practicality ? Looks wise , I thgink you need a plan for the whole house . I'm not a fan of brown , but the darker brown around the window looks good -- the gutters , the dirty white of that canopy , the wrought iron less so . Just me , I'd waterblast everything , I'd cut off the wrought iron ( an angle grinder should do fine ) , and paint the gutters , and the concrete canopy , in that darker khaki brown , or a metallic charcoal 9 that would need the window and surround done too ) . As far as a deck , basically I'd go a square , the size of the 'moon' one there , if that makes sense , so probably 2.5 x 2.5 or whatever the distance from the front door to the very front wall is . Stain it that khaki brown , or charcoal ( the same as gutters etc , not some brown , some charcoal ) . And the canopy I'd 'square' that too in an open beam -- leave the existing concrete canopy , just add and square it off , same size as the deck . Any bigger it will look out of proportion , I personally wouldn't have railings or built in seating ( who wants to sit out the front for longer periods IMO ) , just step down to lawn or footpath .

It's not a must do. I think that the current sconce is a little too ornate/federation style for your lovely house. (Is it thirties/forties era?). Noone else is going to much notice it though, it's black, not overly large and definitely not offensive. So if you hate it, then it's probably worth doing, otherwise I'd leave it. The alternatives you picked out would definitely be more true to your house. Maybe no. 3?

With those colours , I think you'd be better to go with a charcoal tile ( and a door mat to counter the heat ) . The garage front looks really nice , as does the garage door , and the charcoal on the upstairs . I'm not a big fan of the bricks , but they are what they are , and it looks like charcoal windowsills and 'tops' around the top . The upstairs is in an off-white or maybe even getting a bit of a steel blue tinge ( I can't quite ascertain , because it appears to be shaded , so I can't quite make out the tone ) , and I personally think that is the 'weakest' part of the build . To go light ( basically , it already is ) would look quite 'meh' IMO , and while I can understand the logic of having the wooden overlay in cedar stain to tie everything together , I personally don't think it goes well with that pattern brick , whereas a charcoal tile would .
