I would want to see more of the space before advising. Is this an open concept floorplan and what is going on elsewhere? Do I see ghost chairs at the table? I'd assume it is more contemporary with those and the style of the extraction system above the stove. Green is a great color but which wall? I assume you must be thinking about the fridge wall since that is what you posted. It looks built-in but not sure what the arch around it is. Agreed, more views of the kitchen would be helpful. But looks like the cabinetry is neutral enough that most accent colors would work.

Here are some more photos. The wooden boards with all the doodles all over it is coming down and opening up to a new extension. The extension will house our dinning area and family room. Yes i have red and yellow ghost chairs with a dark walnut table. Thanks for your help.

Yes the wall with the fridge is the one we are going to paint a colour. The arch is where we filled in an arch way so we could build in the fridge and freezer. We will be flushing that and making it all part of the wall. My last house was very bright and I guess over the top. I had purple walls with bright white cupboards. I'm not as good at being subtle.

This was my last kitchen. A lot smaller but brighter.

You have a beautiful space. Do you plan on a neutral paint scheme with pops of color in the accessories or do you wish to go with saturated color again?

I think something in the middle. Not too plain but not in your face as my previous house. I've never worked with cream before so not sure what to put with it. My style these days is industrial vintage. We are linking stone colours and greys but with accents of colour. Like my red and yellow chairs.

The brights will be softer and greyed down next year,

You might try painting the cabinets and ceiling for color and also some colorful pendant lights over the island. The backsplash and contrasting accessories can also bring in color.

Hi your kitchen is beautiful! I see you have some red pieces in your kitchen and I have seen a home where the ceiling was red a nice warm red and it made the home feel so nice and cozy like you never wanted to leave. They too had a ceiling like yours but that may be too bold. I just looked at ideas in houzz for red in the kitchen...wow how fun. You mentioned you have some red and yellow in your furniture etc., maybe red is for you. Good luck !
