I've been working towards a simple, uncluttered and good looking bedroom/office, and I've come to this. I'm wondering what sort of things I can do to continue to make the space better, and more enjoyable to be in. Thoughts?
My only immediate thought is, you have two monitors in this space. Is there a way that the one mounted on the wall could also serve as your desk top monitor. Example a turning/tilt bracket. I think this would help to keep it minimal. Love the wall art
I feel like the art above the water cooler is too much to the right. I would move it a little more to the left. But if you have the ability, I would actually replace it will a picture or painting that is not two dimensional. In other words, a picture where your eye can wonder as if it was three dimension. Maybe a simple beach scene or mountain scene. Something that suggests space since the room is quite snug.
get rid of the heavy curtain and replace it with blinds. the light curtain can stay to soften the blinds. substitute a less heavy table for th existing one.
I would even consider a daybed or a folding couch bed. This way you can make it easily into a office in the morning then back into a bedroom at night. Gives you more space and will make the space more airy. I also agree with adding a window covering that lets in more light to lift the room.
