This Randwick home was undergoing a full architectural rebuild when Bell were engaged to design new gardens for our wonderful clients. The rear garden was completely stripped out during the builld so we had a wonderful blank canvas!
The brief was to create lush gardens to soften the build and create an entertaining zone for the teenage children to enjoy with their friends whilst the parents enjoyed the main residence - the idea was for the entire family to be able to stay home together yet entertain separately in clearly defined spaces. We created a seperate 'destination' at the rear of the property, linked to the main house via a raised timber boardwalk, surronded by lush gardens and soft grasses. The boardwalk draws you to another space, a sunken fire pit area with hardwood seating and built in storage. This joins to a semi-open cabana.
