This gorgeous home, when viewed from the street displays a lovely, humble double fronted cottage. Once you step through the front door the architectural remodelling of the house becomes immediately apparent.
The garden was a blank canvass following the new build so we created 3 distinct levels - the upper deck with BBQ / outdoor dinning, the synthetic turf area for the little ones and pets, and the lower level with bench seating and outdoor shower used as a multipurpose chill out zone. Tiering the garden allowed for maximum use of the sloping block. Each zone is generous enough in scale to be both visually appealing and fully functional. The cascading Dichondra act perfectly to soften the retaining walls and the remaining planting design focused on tropical plants to soften and encourage a resort style, relaxed ambiance.
