Some beautiful kitchens here. Particularly like: 6, 7, 14 with it's brick floor, 23 for capturing perfectly the coastal beach vibe, 27 for the feature metal doors. No. 10, too me, is a little too heavy or busy with the shaker doors in such a small kitchen and with 31, I feel it may have been better if the outside of the pantry?/room at the far end, had been clad in mid colour timber to match the uppers, as to me the black looks too heavy or too much. Great article, a feast for the eyes

One thing missing (from a quick scan through) is the cook top on the island, swapped with what most designs seem to have with the sink on the island. This avoids cooking with your back to people and keeps the cook involved with the guests while preparing. There are obviously issues with safety around children and fume extraction but these can be managed with good design. Also, keeping the sink away from the central island keeps the inevitable stack of dirty dishes, pots etc. more out of sight. Just my two cents...
