The master bedroom features custom, built in wardrobes with cabinets and drawers in varying sizes. The red oak floor with the mahogany inlay continues in this room. What started as an addition project turned into a full house remodel in this Modern Craftsman home in Narberth, PA.. The addition included the creation of a sitting room, family room, mudroom and third floor. As we moved to the rest of the home, we designed and built a custom staircase to connect the family room to the existing kitchen. We laid red oak flooring with a mahogany inlay throughout house. Another central feature of this is home is all the built-in storage. We used or created every nook for seating and storage throughout the house, as you can see in the family room, dining area, staircase landing, bedroom and bathrooms. Custom wainscoting and trim are everywhere you look, and gives a clean, polished look to this warm house. KuDa Photography 1st floor Master Bedroom bump out with new windows and custom cabinetry. A 2nd smaller bedroom was combined into Master to provide a sitting room with walk in closet and access to the new deck with French Doors. A second floor bathroom was added in the Addition- adding another full bath.

Sometimes the odd element ends up being genuinely charming, as is the case with the angled corner treated with board and batten.

Master suite has been painted a deep blue with paneling surround and a custom sliding bar door for the bathroom entrance. Mint Green dressers with a layered window treatment and a settee for comfort seating.

Updating historic John Hudson Thomas-designed Berkeley bungalow to modern code. Remodel designed by Lorin Hill, Architect included adding an interior stair to provide access to new second-story bedroom with ensuite bath. Main floor renovation included new kitchen, bath as well as bringing all services up to code. Project involved extensive use of traditional materials and craftsmanship.

Imaging the view from this bed, on the 4th floor of the home, overlooking the beach on Lake Michigan. You can easily see the city of Chicago across the Lake. There a 2 small alcoves that have windows that pull enormous amounts of light in.

This master bedroom maximizes space with built in closet space. The chandelier is an ode to he original bones of this house.
