This project was all about taking a tired, cluttered bathroom and turning it into a calm, design-led sanctuary. The original space was heavy on storage but lacked character, with dated cabinetry, fussy curtains, and no real sense of style or flow. The new design strips everything back to a clean, modern canvas. We introduced soft neutral tiles in a handmade finish for texture, paired with a striking herringbone marble floor to elevate the look. A bespoke vanity with fluted detailing creates subtle movement, while the arched mirror framed by elegant wall lights adds depth and sophistication. Brass fixtures were chosen throughout to bring warmth and a touch of luxury, from the concealed flush plate to the wall-mounted taps. The layered lighting (including the ceiling pendant) ensures this bathroom feels inviting both day and night. To keep the design practical for everyday family life, we added bespoke built-in storage in the nook behind the door — the perfect hidden spot for all the family bathroom essentials (because beautiful doesn’t mean you can’t also be organised!). The result? A contemporary, timeless bathroom that feels effortlessly stylish yet practical — the kind of space you’d actually look forward to starting your day in.

Una parete a specchio divide la zona lavabo dalla doccia, realizzata su nicchia. Tutto lo spazio è stato sfruttato al centimetro, grazie alle nicchie ricavate per contenere gli oggetti d’uso quotidiano. Il mobile porta-lavabo sospeso è in olmo ed è stato realizzato su misura.

With pale vertical cedar cladding, granite and clean lines, this contemporary family home has a decidedly mid-century Palm Springs aesthetic. Backing onto a bush reserve, the home makes the most of its lush setting by incorporating a stunning courtyard off the living area. Native bush and a travertine wall form a dramatic backdrop to the pool, with aquila decking running to a sunken outdoor living room, complete with fireplace and skylights - creating the perfect social focal point for year-round relaxing and entertaining. Zusammen mit den ausgestülpten Fensterfaschen in massivem Lärchenholz ergibt sich ein reizvolles Spiel von Farbe und Material, Licht und Schatten auf der Fassade in dem sonst eher unauffälligen Straßenzug in Berlin-Biesdorf. Das ursprünglich beige verklinkerte Fertighaus aus den 90er Jahren sollte den Bedürfnissen einer jungen Familie angepasst werden. Sie leitet ein erfolgreiches Internet-Startup, Er ist Ramones-Fan und -Sammler, Moderator und Musikjournalist, die Tochter ist gerade geboren. So modern und unkonventionell wie die Bauherren sollte auch das neue Heim werden. Eine zweigeschossige Galeriesituation gibt dem Eingangsbereich neue Großzügigkeit, die Zusammenlegung von Räumen im Erdgeschoss und die Neugliederung im Obergeschoss bieten eindrucksvolle Durchblicke und sorgen für Funktionalität, räumliche Qualität, Licht und Offenheit. Zentrale Gestaltungselemente sind die auch als Sitzgelegenheit dienenden Fensterfaschen, die filigranen Stahltüren als Sonderanfertigung sowie der ebenso zum industriellen Charme der Türen passende Sichtestrich-Fußboden. Abgerundet wird der vom Charakter her eher kraftvolle und cleane industrielle Stil durch ein zartes Farbkonzept in Blau- und Grüntönen Skylight, Light Blue und Dix Blue und einer Lasurtechnik als Grundton für die Wände und kräftigere Farbakzente durch Craqueléfliesen von Golem. Ausgesuchte Leuchten und Lichtobjekte setzen Akzente und geben den Räumen den letzten Schliff und eine besondere Rafinesse. Im Außenbereich lädt die neue Stufenterrasse um den Pool zu sommerlichen Gartenparties ein.
