Earth Designs Garden and Build London and Essex

This design draws on Moroccan influences and creates a well laid out space that is fresh and inviting. Flooring in the space consists of multi-coloured African slate laid in a stretcher pattern, interspersed with the occasional Moroccan floor tile. Under the kitchen window is a butcher block housing a Belfast sink allowing the client the opportunity for outside water. Directly outside the back door, flanked either side by flush planting beds, there is a railway sleeper sofa-style seat with bespoke waterproof cushions. This area is enclosed with a purpose-built timber pergola with a rusted iron mesh ‘roof’. The existing large laurel was retained and the existing ivy was thinned and conditioned. The inclusion of a large tree fern at the entrance to the seating area makes a formal entrance to the space. The remainder of the planting consists of oranges and greens with a selection of climbers, evergreens and herbaceous perennials selected to give year round interest.

Now one of the country's most popular Airbnb that features traditional barrel saunas, hot tubs, and spring water plunge pools in an idyllic private enclosure. Guests love the retreat for its amenities and privacy where they get to immerse themselves in nature and completely switch off from the outside world. The design included raised wooden beds. One area dedicated to growing their own fruit and veg and the other to pollinator friendly planting. these beds are easy to access and also helped to deal with the slope in the area, allowing the creation of a more level lawn area for children to play on.

Среди лесных деревьев и окружающих построек соседей мы создали уединенный оазис для полноценного отдыха очень активного семейства, приезжающего на выходные дни, обожающего приемы гостей и посиделки у камина. Интерес к растениям нам удалось развить, поразив хозяев широкими возможностями нашего ассортимента и выразительностью приемов создания непрерывного цветения. В геометрии планировки отталкивались от линий существующего гранитного мощения. В плавный перепад рельефа в 2,7 м , сосредоточенный на новой территории мы удачно вписали сферические линии террас -ступеней и площадки для загара. Сверкающие на солнце дорожки из стабилизированного гравия своим теплым оттенком отлично гармонируют с домом и переливающимся лабрадоритом бетонного мощения. Ажурная игра света и тени, созданная растущими на участке березами, дубами, елями определяют сценарий отдельных зон - тенистая дорожка из плитняка, кедровая роща с луговыми цветами, солнечные газоны и цветник из высоких изысканных многолетников под большим дубом. Смена окружения придает уникальный вкус каждой жилой зоне на открытом воздухе, обеспечивая радость и непринужденность семейного общения и досуга.

Looking to transform the landscape and entrance of this unique surrey estate. Forging a strong connection with the architecture and landscape was a key part of this project. Focusing on the arrival point to create a welcoming and inspiring entrance to the family and guests. Pockets of green divide the entrance space and direct the guests through the front garden. The resulting garden provides a welcoming and striking scene.

Natural stone laid in a random pattern forms a generous seating area, then it breaks up to form a loosely planted gravel area to soften the hard edges of the garden. A cantilevered oak bench alongside a compact slate water feature forms the central focal point from the living room windows.
