Modern design meets traditional materials in this open and functional kitchen. The center island is a perfect prep area with plenty of space to work. The metal and tile backsplash gives lots of character while still being easy to maintain and clean. Granite countertops in Colonial Beige highlight the cherry cabinetry and stainless appliances.

A seductive kitchen with state-of-the-art technology and sophisticated lines
Scavolini offers an exclusively styled kitchen bearing the name of Giugiaro Design.
A unique, innovative model, the Flux kitchen features perfect combinations of straight and curved lines, unusual materials and fascinating layouts; apparently futuristic creative concepts that never forget the functional needs of everyday use.
Its "must"? The strategy of concentrating all the most specifi cally "working" functions in a round island, separate from the kitchen itself. An attractive, highly original work-station, with everything it takes to make cooking a pleasure.

Concealed storage and refrigeration are an afterthought as the white oak wainscot panels bring forth the warmth and charm of a community eating and prep area. The vast island is made of custom steel with a wax finish and soapstone top. Easily store spices behind the concealed cabinets flanking the range. Thermadore appliances keep the cook in the kitchen, and the black and steel backsplash offers a brass shelf for cooking oils and spices. Flanking both sides of the range are panel doors that lead into the scullery and are topped off with leaded glass transoms.

The center island also has a custom, concrete countertop, which was embedded with a variety of glass, stones, and other materials while the concrete was still wet. The end result is like nothing we've ever seen before - a stunning, eye-catching countertop that catches every incoming ray of light in the perfect way.

The angled island provides great conversation between the two "wings." The two-tiered construction provides discreetly placed outlets. The bar refrigerator and microwave are tucked in their spots, convenient, but not ostentatious.

An ergonomically designed kitchen. Grey cabinets with a light grey metro tile laid brick style with a marble work top in wet and heat zones. A wooden top has been fitted to the bespoke island unit. All apliances are integrated. Glass partition wall and door allows light to flood into the adjoining hall.
