The Korina is John Cannon’s new model home that is inspired by a transitional West Indies style with a contemporary influence. From the cathedral ceilings with custom stained scissor beams in the great room with neighboring pristine white on white main kitchen and chef-grade prep kitchen beyond, to the luxurious spa-like dual master bathrooms, the aesthetics of this home are the epitome of timeless elegance. Every detail is geared toward creating an upscale retreat from the hectic pace of day-to-day life. A neutral backdrop and an abundance of natural light, paired with vibrant accents of yellow, blues, greens and mixed metals shine throughout the home.

This chandelier was here when the project began. It set the stage for this Gatsby-style transformation that took place so that the homeowners would have an incredible space for entertaining and storing their wine. The walls are finished with a rustic faux wood paint and panel design; this provides charm and fluidity with the rest of the house. The custom chilled wine storage is embodied with ornate trim providing elegance to match the grand chandelier.
Gryphon Builders, as a custom design build firm, can take your current house and your ambitions for it and turn it into an impeccable fluid design, embracing beauty, and functionality of everyday life.

L/L Design - Build - Furnish
Our client purchased this home and knew he wanted a wine cellar incorporated into the space, but didn't just want a small wall style. He knew he would never use the existing dining room, so this was the space selected for the transformation.
Lots of planning and details went into the process to make sure the mechanicals would support the temperature control, and also to blend the old world Italian heritage into a traditional home setting.
We nailed it on giving him a unique look, with high end custom finishes noticed at every angle.
This room remodel is very much enjoyed on a daily basis.

The custom mahogany racking features double depth bottle storage on the lower half ot the wall. Above that is a canted display row with hidden LED lighting. This creates a drink ledge in front of the display row where you can set down your glass while you enjoy the collection. Above this point, we've provide several other styles of racking with both neck and label forward designs. The evaporator component of the cooling system is obscured by a mahogany diffuser which allows the air to circulate throughout the room.
