Block work surround the entire perimeter is original to the house built in 1969 in Rancho Mirage, CA. Pool chairs are sitting on new concrete pads. New grass was installed to finish off the comfortable pool area.

Every detail was highly considered, even down to the customer made breeze block to create this on-trend screen wall. Everything is new, all plants, cactus, agave, succulents, plants, and lighting. A new garden to complement this recently renovated mid-century modern home by Northern Edge Studio. A naturalistic contemporary Australian style garden with native grasses, Kangaroo Paws and native ground covers. New seeded exposed aggregate path around the home and a seating area to be immersed within the garden. Beautiful bluestone steppers slow your pace to walk through the garden.

Concrete pathway complimented by Mexican pebbles and other gravel and a combination of succulents and fox tail fern along the house show. on the hillside the "Gracie Modern Arbors" (by TerraTrellis) offer eye-catching focal points. Three installed to bring interest and needed height over a long pathway ramp with grape vines. Another frames a stairway to the hillside with a flowering Passion vine. The sloped hillsides were revamped to include low-water and low-maintenance plants that include CA natives, flowing grasses, other Mediterranean plants and several succulents.

A closeup of Pincushion Tango shrub in Spring. Leucospermum 'Tango' is a dramatic flowering shrub from South African, and suits the SF bay area Mediterranean climate. The Front landscape takes on a minimalist design with architectural plants that include Barrel Cactus, Artichoke Agaves, stately Thatching Reeds, a Blue Palm (Brahea 'Clara') a Mediterranean Fan Palm and other easy-care plants. The corten steel sculpture offers a striking focal point adjacent to the front doorway.
