Located in the heart of NW Portland, this townhouse is situated on a tree-lined street, surrounded by other beautiful brownstone buildings. The renovation has preserved the building's classic architectural features, while also adding a modern touch. The main level features a spacious, open floor plan, with high ceilings and large windows that allow plenty of natural light to flood the space. The living room is the perfect place to relax and unwind, with a cozy fireplace and comfortable seating, and the kitchen is a chef's dream, with top-of-the-line appliances, custom cabinetry, and a large peninsula.

The tub and shower area are combined to create a wet room and maximize the floor plan.

Our clients wanted to update the bathroom on the main floor to reflect the style of the rest of their home. The clean white lines, gold fixtures and floating vanity give this space a very elegant and modern look.

Inspiration for a small modern 3/4 bathroom in Orange County with flat-panel cabinets, dark wood cabinets, an alcove shower, a one-piece toilet, white tile, porcelain tile, grey walls, porcelain floors, a vessel sink, engineered quartz benchtops, white floor, a hinged shower door and white benchtops.

The tub was eliminated in favor of a large walk-in shower featuring double shower heads, multiple shower sprays, a steam unit, two wall-mounted teak seats, a curbless glass enclosure and a minimal infinity drain. Additional floor space in the design allowed us to create a separate water closet. A pocket door replaces a standard door so as not to interfere with either the open shelving next to the vanity or the water closet entrance. We kept the location of the skylight and added a new window for additional light and views to the yard. We responded to the client’s wish for a modern industrial aesthetic by featuring a large metal-clad double vanity and shelving units, wood porcelain wall tile, and a white glass vanity top. Special features include an electric towel warmer, medicine cabinets with integrated lighting, and a heated floor. Industrial style pendants flank the mirrors, completing the symmetry. Handmade tiles combined with soft brass fixtures, creates a luxurious shower for two. The generous, sloped, soaking tub allows for relaxing baths by candlelight. New Modern Lake House: Located on beautiful Glen Lake, this home was designed especially for its environment with large windows maximizing the view toward the lake. The lower awning windows allow lake breezes in, while clerestory windows and skylights bring light in from the south. A back porch and screened porch with a grill and commercial hood provide multiple opportunities to enjoy the setting. Michigan stone forms a band around the base with blue stone paving on each porch. Every room echoes the lake setting with shades of blue and green and contemporary wood veneer cabinetry.
