I was asked to represent my client's home and garden on this painting, It's a whimsical and creative version. I asked them what were their favorite flowers. The curved black object is a great contemporary sculpture. The lilies look gigantic because my clients LOVE them. That's what I like about painting: even when I represent the reality, I can still change it and make my ow version of the reality.
