Vicki Simon Interior DesignWhen the house was purchased, someone had lowered the ceiling with gyp board. We re-designed it with a coffer that looked original to the house. The antique stand for the vessel sink was sourced from an antique store in Berkeley CA. The flooring was replaced with traditional 1" hex tile.

In the open-concept dining room, a gorgeous white stone gas fireplace is the focal point with a built-in credenza buffet for the dining area. At the front entryway, Kapan designed one of our most unique built ins with floor-to-ceiling wood beams anchoring white pedestal boxes for display. Another beauty is the industrial chic stairwell combining steel wire and a dark reclaimed wood bannister.

MC Design LLCThis powder room sits between the kitchen and the home office. To maximize space, we built a furniture-like vanity with a vessel sink on top and a wall mounted faucet. We placed pocket doors on both sides, and wrapped the room in a custom-made wainscoting, painted green with a glazed finish.
