This client had an old brick fireplace and mdf mantel They chose ledge stone veneer and a custom made one of a kind barn beam mantel. The mantel was slabbed to have a smooth top and bottom , yet still displaying the unmistakable character of the hand hewn beam. This one day renovation enabled them to keep thier entertainment schedule ... with a house full of guests that night for a family function !
