Designer worked with skilled artisans, Nicola and Leslie Vigini, to reimagine a dated dark plank wood floor that could not be removed. It was stripped, and painted to resemble a 7 color (7 layer) cement tiles design. Edges were left unpainted to resemble an area rug placement.
