We heard so many horror stories about projects that ended up double the timeline and double the price; Themis, Peter and their team kept those nightmares from being our reality. Thanks to their careful management, we ended up finishing the project right on budget and nearly on time - seemingly unheard of in New York City renovations. Even more vital, Themis was as concerned as we were about the small details along the way, and as a result, we ended up with high-quality construction. “Richard and Michael are fantastic to work with. They are very creative and highly professional. Our project is a complete gut job renovation of a 140 year old row house in Brooklyn. NC2 has come at it with complete enthusiasm from day one, and have stayed positive and focused even when we have hit rough patches. Our favorite part about working with them is their collaboration style. They do a good job of doing all the "hard work" behind the scenes, but they truly make us feel that we are part of the team. They take our feedback wholeheartedly, they are always ready to walk away from an idea they may really like if it doesn't resonate with us, and they are totally open and respectful to ideas we bring to the table. It helps that we have similar taste and style, but in general, they just have a great collaborative and respectful approach. They also have been very good to work with on budget management. We would recommend them for any jobs, large or small.”

“We had an amazing experience working with Cheung Showman on redesigning our kitchen/living space. They worked quickly understanding that we had some very pressing decisions to make and were very professional. Our job was small but not so simple as we were working within the confines of an older tudor home that we were trying to maintain the character of while also opening the space a bit more. So thankful of their work and will definitely work with them again!!”

“LEAP designed our modern and green home addition. They handled much of the creative work on the project, as well as detailed renderings, bid consultations, and construction supervision. LEAP's work was very creative and responded directly to our needs. They found ways to get energy efficiency and modern design details into a "buildable" and cost-conscious project. “We had never been homeowners, let alone renovators, before we bought a brownstone in Carroll Gardens, and ACHA was the perfect partner to get us through a daunting process to the home we wanted. Ali helped us figure out and then implement the right plan for us. He was great on the big picture and the detail -- taking the time to learn our style preferences and developing them into options we never would have thought of on our own. He was patient with us and effective at translating our priorities (and financial constraints!) to the contractors. Ali made optimal use of our limited space -- fitting in a powder room on a parlor floor, where it didn't seem one could fit, along with an open living/dining area, and three comfortable bedrooms and two baths on the garden level. And he designed a fabulous deck and got us through the treacherous Department of Building approval process for it! I cannot overstate the unusual combination of aesthetic sophistication and practical know-how ACHA offers.”
