During the course of our project our vision changed a number of times. Evan responded with flexibility and patience and worked closely with us to achieve our outcomes. Evan provides a very personal service and he will take the time to listen to you and provide feedback and problem solving without being patronising. We are already planning for Evan to design our next project which will be our forever home in the Lockyer Valley.”

“We had Rebecca from May Tree Studios discuss our existing and rather boring home with a view to give it more street appeal without spending a fortune and to make some alterations to the interior. We were more than delighted with the concept drawings provided following our discussion. We have now completed the work and the home is transformed to unrecognisable (one visitor drove right past). Recently a regular passer-by commented that our home is now the best in the street - it was easily the least attractive in our street previously. Together with the concept drawings, Rebecca also provided details of colours that are modern and very attractive, yet blend well with existing original features. I did not think that would be possible. We are a building company so we see a lot of home designs. We considered that the proposal from Rebecca was practical and cost effective, as well as being highly professional. We highly recommend her to you.”

“Nives created a beautiful design for the renovation and extension of our home in Paddington. Her knowledge and experience has allowed us have a finished design which will lead to a lovely spacious home for our family to enjoy. Due to budgetary and timing constraints (arrival of our 3rd child), we had to split our project into 2 stages. The first stage was the addition of a much needed large rear deck and re-configuration of the front entrance to our house - both of which have completely changed how we live in our home. The second stage of our project, which we hope to start this year, will be to raise the existing house, creating a parents' retreat, family living and dining areas flowing to the deck, and building 3 bedrooms, lounge, bathroom and laundry space downstairs on a new level. We are really looking forward to this next stage! We would strongly recommend Nives. We hired her after seeing the finished products of other projects she worked on for friends - and we will certainly use her again with our next project.”

“I have worked successfully with Birchall and Partner Architects Pty Ltd (BPA) on a number of commercial building projects over the last 12 years. During this time, I can report only fair and honest dealings with consideration to the client/builder relationship. My on-site personnel find BPA easy to deal with and more importantly, active when difficult on site situations arise.They provide rational, relevant and timely decisions under the pressure of a commercial building program. “Archished designed a beautiful pool and outdoor area for our home. The outcomes were fantastic and we love the pool and spa. We frequently get great compliments about our outdoor area. In particular the unique and artistic korten screen that Catherine include in our design and the curved pool edge fit so will in our garden area and create a special outdoor space for our family.”

“When Nina and I needed some ideas and plans for a large multi purpose farm shed Kelvin was recommended by a family member due to his thorough nature and attention to detail. His ideas were very logical and practical and we both were very satisfied with his care and understanding , we also found him very accessible via phone and email and his responses were timely and professional We would certainly use and or recommend Kelvin again.”

“Hive recently undertook a major renovation project for us, modernising a modest worker’s cottage in Brisbane into the home of our dreams. Hive was the reliable constant throughout the build, preparing the concept design (including impressive 3D walk-throughs), refining the plans to include our feedback, then helping us to obtain Council approval (approved first time). They were also invaluable during the construction phase, using a deft touch with the builder and other consultants to make the project a reality. Prior to this project we hadn’t used an architect before, but Hive’s experience allowed us to contain our spend and achieve a design that included the things that were important to us. Their thoughtful design took our project to the next level and has brought us a great deal of enjoyment. We couldn’t recommend them more.”
