“It is a pleasure to write a testimonial for Stephensen Constructions. My house was built in 1903 and very little had been done in the following century. Stage 1 of the renovation was a complete strip out of the upper level, and new build downstairs to make a two level home. Shane and his team offer a high level of personalised service, their attention to detail is first class, and the team and all contractors were always respectful, approachable and professional. Coming from a design background, I wanted to be involved in the building process. I was always consulted regarding any changes which needed to be made and Shane always responded to any questions I had. We have just completed Stage 2, which was a deck, garages and fences, and once again the process was seamless, with the same high quality finish. Shane and the team are very well organised, with quality workmanship throughout and attention to detail. The process has been extremely enjoyable and I am thrilled with the outcome of my home. “I had already met with 6 builders when I first heard from Jason of Heritage Homesteads. disappointment after disappointment led us to start reviewing other options for our new home, as the builders we were speaking to just weren't on the same page as we were, and they didn't understand why we didn't want their stock standard offerings. When I talked to Jason it was like a breath of fresh air - finally! A builder who actually knows what we want, who wants to help us build the home we have been dreaming of - and within our budget!! Even better! We designed our home together from scratch - it is uniquely ours! all decisions were made easily and communication was fantastic using the online system, which left no room for error. All of the 'standard' fittings and products used are of the highest quality, and we are grateful for not having to upgrade every little thing - even down to elegant towel racks and toilet paper holders! Jason worked tirelessly to get us in in absolutely amazing time and we couldn't be more grateful. We absolutely love living here and if (when!!) we ever build again, we will not hesitate to go straight back to Heritage Homesteads.”
