“Currently in planning stages with Jamie Shaw building. Before we made the decision to build with Jamie we checked out a heap of their work and spoke to various people who'd completed projects with them. The feedback we got back highlighted Jamie's attention to detail, the relationship he creates with his clients along the way and his professionalism. After seeing examples of his work first hand and also crunching some numbers with him. We realised that not only can Jamie compete with the larger project company's but he can have us in our home in half the time. Saving us time and money renting, paying interest on the mortgage and we end up in a master built home! It's been great so far and I couldn't recommend Jamie's team any more highly and I mean that completely sincerely. Matthew Armitage”

He listened to what we wanted and shared with us his knowledge and advice when we needed it. “Dobsonei provided a realistic and well considered fixed price contract to renovate and extend a very dilapidated 1883 Victorian Terrace house (4 bedrooms, double garage) versus other competing quotes that were all provided on a cost plus basis only. The project was completed on schedule and with only very minimal variations added on which was remarkable considering the number of unknown factors involved in renovating a 130 year old house that had been severely neglected and even had a Council sticker warning people not to enter.”

“"Having our recent home previously renovated by Andrew he was our first choice when we decided to build a new home and between us we came up with what we thought the perfect design. Andrew and his sons were a joy to work with, nothing was a problem and not having built before I needed a lot of help with choosing items, etc for the build and Andrew was always willing to help us. Their workmanship was excellent and the finishing touches perfect, we have had many compliments on the design and quality of work. Building a home I have always been told is a very stressful matter but Andrew made it quite stress free by his easy going manner. Thank you Andrew, Braedon and Lachie...."”

We had to call them back to fix another problem we were having and they came when they said they would and also fixed that problem without complaint. “Hume Building were amazing to build with. Stephen was friendly and accommodating right from the start. We were able to get a custom build that was exactly what we wanted and was built to the highest of standards. Nothing was too difficult for them and they were able to accommodate every request. They communicated with us every step of the way. We got to walk through and choose exactly where we wanted our electrical fittings too, which was a real bonus! The girls who helped with our colour selections and fit outs were great to deal with and the standard of inclusions was very high compared to other builders. Our double-storey, custom build took only 6 months to build and we can't fault it. Highly recommend Hume Building to anyone looking to build something special that is unique, high-quality and feels like home.”
