“Dan did an amazing job. He organised everything. Was easy to talk to. I couldn't believe how fast he got in and got the job done. The quality of his work i thought was to a very high standard. He always turned up. Money well worth spent. We had a granny flat we had been in the process of building and hadn't done anything on it for 2 years. We needed help. We decided to find a builder who could build our deck for us. It was about 18m x 9.5m (veranda on 3 sides) and was about 2m off the ground (the ground was elevated). A friend ended up recommending Dan to us. Dan also did the veranda roof, guttering etc and wire balustrade all the way around. Looks really beautiful. I also got him to build some internal shelving, put doors on, attach towel rails, mirrors and other bits and pieces. I'm so glad we did.”

“We are renovating our home and have chosen to do this in stages. We have dealt with Daniel and his team for the first 2 stages and Stage 3 is now nearing completion. I think that it would be self-evident to say that if we were unhappy with Stage 1, then we would not have used Daniel for Stages 2 & 3 and with Stage 4 to complete the total rebuild of our home. We knew nothing about the selection criteria for choosing a builder. In the end it came down to a personal recommendation from a work colleague. That personal recommendation to make contact with Daniel was the best renovation decision that we made. Even more important that selecting bathroom tiles! Right from the outset, Daniel was professional, innovative, accurate and timely. Most of all, Daniel was patient. There has been any number of changes of mind over the 3 Stages, but the whole way Daniel was prepared to look to the alternatives and provide suggestions and to work within budgets without sacrificing the quality of result that we were seeking. We thought that we may have worn out our welcome with the number of revised quotes that Daniel was required to do. But once the quote was finalised, then all that we needed to do was to watch our home being transformed in front of our eyes. Daniel’s team have been fabulous with a special mention to James, as Daniel’s “right hand man”. The disruption to your life while you live in a house that is being renovated can be very tiring. Daniel’s team were very respectful that we were still in the house. They were a happy bunch of tradies and this included the contractors that Daniel engaged. There has not been one person in our home that we felt uncomfortable about them being there. Our dog (a little Tenterfield terrier) can be a handful at times, particularly when she is on the other side of the fence from where all the action was taking place. James, Riley and Taylor were all “dog friendly” tradies, and this was important to us. Each day, either Daniel or James would let us know what was happening that day and advise us of the progress towards completion. At the end of each day, Daniel’s team left the house clean, tidy and secure. Finally, the quality of the workmanship has been without fault. Each stage that has been completed required no follow up or remedial work to fix problems. There can be no doubt that our final Stage 4 will be completed by Cobb & Co Projects Pty Ltd.”

“Eco Essence built our 2 story beach house at Casuarina in 2012. Jeremy and Wayne from Eco Essence Homes were recommended to us by the property developers of Seaside as Eco builders. When we met with them to sketch out some ideas, they immediately impressed us with their easygoing but professional approach and the way in which they translated our ideas to paper. It also appealed to us that they were a local company and not part of a large chain.
