“Our build story started in mid 2018. Reef Coast Constructions was one of three companies we asked to quote for renovations and an extension to our home in Hermit Park. They were highly recommended by friends of ours. Reef Coast gave us a comprehensive quote. However, at the time we decided to go with the cheapest quote we received; a decision we later regretted. Shortly after completion of the base stage of the build the Townsville floods of 2019 hit and our selected builder ceased trading. We then spent the next eighteen months going through insurance claims. This process was advanced by Rob from Reef Coast who approached the QBCC on our behalf. Ultimately, we revised the scope of the build and engaged Reef Coast to complete it. The build presented some challenges due to issues in the base stage undertaken by the previous builder which Reef Coast addressed for us. Reef Coast completed the build to a high specification and we are very impressed by the quality of the final build. We would highly recommend Reef Coast Constructions.
