From our first meeting, Dwain was great to deal with, friendly, listened to what we were after and our concerns (we were building in Brisbane whilst living in Sydney), accommodating and provided valuable feedback on all aspects given this was our first build. All the specifications and price of the build were laid out from the beginning and Dwain took the time to talk through all our questions in detail (thanks for your patience!) to make sure we were comfortable with everything and to ensure there were no surprises. All the inclusions were of a high standard. The build itself was seamless, we were provided regular updates on the progress of the build and there were no delays from the original timetable. What sets Hezzelic apart is the quality of finishes and the pride Dwain, Shane and the team take in their work. Just a tiny example, during the build, Dwain noticed the way we had the front door swing in the plans didn’t flow well practically, he called us to discuss this, and amended the plan for the door accordingly. It is the little details like this that you miss when you are not on site but that we were grateful that the Hezzelic team took the time to think of and address during the build process. Dwain, Shane and the team have great attention to detail and take pride in their finishes, when we did the walk through for handover, they picked out defects that we missed and had them all fixed prior to us moving in. “It all started with meeting Jason Nicholls, the sales consultant of Ownit Homes, I walked into a display home in Upper Coomera and there I met Jason. What an asset to the company, he is kind and friendly, not pushy at all and so helpful. Nothing is ever too much for him. And he follows up with everything. Next is the back office team in particular Nikki Lennon and Angela Black. I have asked them both so many questions and they never got irritable with me and they explained everything to me in a language I could understand. And lastly, Mark, the site supervisor, he is as friendly as the rest and phones me every week to let me know how the construction is going. (A very nice touch) My new home is on time and on budget. I would really recommend Ownit Homes to anyone that is thinking of building a new home.”
