“We did the rounds of designers before engaging Ivy + Piper for our renovation of a 25 year old resort in Vanuatu. Our brief was vague, but we knew actually how we wanted the resort to feel. Melanie and Elizabeth came back with a design that not only represented who we were but how Vanuatu as a small group of Islands in the South Pacific feels and lives. They included our incredible history, our sunsets, our people and local craftmanship. We had a wonderful and easy relationship with 2 site visits and the rest by email. “I have a house in west end which was originally a single level 3 bedroom workers cottage. The house was built in underneath 5 years ago and the upper level (original house) was left un touched and rented in its original state. For added income I decided to rent out the lower levels and moved into the upper one. I was struggling with ideas on how to get the original house (over one hundred years old) to blend in and work with the newer, more modern lower levels. I appointed Dani Louis, to initially get ideas on colour schemes, light fittings, kitchen and bathroom layouts etc. Dani, was extremely helpful and full of great ideas. The house has kept some of its original features ie VJ walls etc, but now blends in nicely, mixing old world with new. Dani has tremendous buying power and sources great deals on fittings, fixtures etc and passes on her savings for all items as part of her service, which was amazing because the savings added up to be a lot more than the fee she charged. I am a very happy customer and would highly recommend Dani Louis Design to anybody wanting to undertake any form of renovation or design consultation. “Natasha is a spatial expert with an exceptional eye for design and the ability to immediately see potential. We asked Natasha to assist us with a bathroom, laundry & ensuite renovation. She listened to our issues with the existing layout and offered a fresh prospective reflecting our personal taste. Natasha came up with ideas incorporating extra space and offering alternative ideas that we would have not considered but made so much sense. The end result was fantastic, the new design not only making use of space but combining the natural light & much needed storage. We were really happy with her friendly advice and her ability to understand what we wanted to achieve. I would highly recommend Bankson Design. “I recently renovated our kitchen and bathroom. Roslyn was very helpful throughout the whole renovation project. At the planning stage, I had many ideas which i wanted to implement for the project. “We engaged Angie to provide end to end interior layout and design advice on the full renovation of our family home in Mitchelton, Brisbane. Having never completed a renovation before, we had no idea where to start but felt confident after our initial consultations and reassured throughout the whole process. Contrary to countless negative stories from friends and family that have similarly taken on large scale renovations, we could not have been happier with the process and end result, due largely to Angie's professionalism, insight and considerate nature. “we worked with Suzie on our holiday house in the Whitsundays so we were looking forward to working with her again on our new home. This was a complete renovation, floors to ceiling. Suzie worked closely with the architect and builder to ensure our style and required structural changes were our vision and what our family needed. Our home has a beautiful flow now, gone are the harsh 80s angles, endless pillars and bulkheads. We wanted our home to be welcoming and comfortable but also have all the amenities and technology to live our life. Some things we had definite ideas and others we knew what we wanted but not how to achieve it, Suzie would brainstorm with us and either know the solution through experience or come up with workable options. I adore every room and piece of furniture. We have a 5 star finish on our home and I credit Suzie's enthusiasm, professionalism and her incredible skills and experience.”

“I engaged dbb for my apartment renovation after a recommendation from a friend. I must admit I was hesitant at first as this was my first time engaging an interior designer. From our initial meeting, Amy listened to all my needs and had some great design ideas for my kitchen and bathroom that really got me excited. As well as designing joinery for my new study, ddb assisted me with furniture selections and general finishes for the apartment. Everything was documented so well that it was easy for me to understand and liaise with trades people. I was so happy with the final outcome, it was exactly what I had set out to create. Amy thank you for making the design process go so smoothly, it was a pleasure working with you.”

“Grant responded within a few hours to our initial web request. Our first project with him was a small ($13,000) master bedroom refurbishment and stretched out over 10 months. He proved to be consistently patient, honest, a great mediator between my wife and me. But best of all, he has a good eye for the right balance between our style, his WOW factor input, and our low budget. So after he finished the first project, we introduced him to our new retirement apartment. With an eye on the next 20 years, the budget was higher, we were starting with a clean slate, and needed much more than in Project 1. Again, Grant the Mediator made life easier between my wife and me, allowing us to make decisions based both on logic (my way) and emotion/style/colour (my wife's way). We couldn't have done it without him. Thanks Grant!”
