Jane Brown Interiors changed my life. My home has been transformed from a cold, barely functional and impermanent 2 bedroom apartment into a warm, cosy and bright 9 room retreat. We changed the loungeroom to face the huge windows that now have floor to ceiling plush curtains with sheer flowy fabric behind. The TV is now mounted to the wall, I have a divine marble dining table with comfortable fabric chairs and two beautiful rugs that Jane helped pick to bring texture and warmth to my wooden floorboards. My old furniture was cold and had been retrofit from previous homes. It was great to use Jane’s amazing eye for colour, texture and spacial awareness to deliver an entirely new room for me to live in. My hallway was long and empty but now has a runner, mirrors, a mounted hallstand that we painted and had cut down to fit and I use it! I would never have known that a long empty hallway could feel like a cosy room in itself. My kitchen is now a space that I spend time in rather than being a walkway to outside. We’ve painted, removed mirror splashbacks, brought in a vintage cabinet that’s now mounted to the wall and given me more space and feels more homely. Outside my deck looks like a room from a home magazine! I love spending time on my new lounges, with comfortable outdoor rug and stools making it welcome for more people rather than the furniture I had previously. The bright and beautiful chandeliers Jane helped me find have given the place an antique feel and they fill me with joy every time I see them. I cannot say enough how Jane Brown changed my life. Coming home feels amazing now when before it felt like I’d dropped my previous life into my home and had tried to make it work. Jane is a master at her craft, a delight to spend time with and a true legend at what she does to transform lives.

Jane provided design ideas for our office space during the consultation that we had never considered, all of which were perfect for the space. She has a natural gift and an exceptional eye. We recommend her highly and wholeheartedly!

Our consultation with Jane was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Jane was super communicative pre-visit, outlining what would be covered during her time with us, was punctual and gave incredibly helpful advice and tips on how to best style and make the most out of our apartment space, living with two teens and a six year old. The follow ups she mentioned during our consultation were also delivered promptly. It was an absolute pleasure working with Jane and we can not recommend her service highly enough. I was apprehensive employing an interior designer as was concerned about cost and if I would have enough input to make it "our home". My apprehension very quickly disappeared as Jane Brown outlined how we would meet our budget expectations with her clever ways to achieve big outcomes. Such ideas as sewing rugs together rather than custom made which saved us a bomb and the outcome is outstanding. I particularly loved the fact she made it so personal by observing each of us, how we live in the house, our habits and made sure the interiors catered for these quirks i.e. I have the habit of hanging my handbags on the back of the dining chairs so she arranged for hooks on the wall so my bags are out of the way and even look like a piece of art! Jane was brilliant at finding a place for items/piece of furniture we were "wedded to" unlike other designers I had encountered that want you to remove everything so they can put their stamp on the job. As a person I found Jane super caring, honest and lots of fun so the whole experience was nothing less than totally enjoyable.

Jane is a most extraordinary interior designer. Her craft affects so much more than the furniture in the room. In fact I would say it's not about the furniture, she worked with me & the space in which I live my life. After a consultation with me about my hopes & dreams and what I wanted for myself, she then sat quietly in the space. What came out of that was almost magical. Jane completely landscaped the energy & aesthetics of my home. This event came on the back end of a very difficult 2 years personally. I and anyone who has come into my home since simply stand in wonder. Jane worked to my budget and my home reflects me. I feel at ease & take delight on a daily basis in my home. If this sounds overeffusive I can only say that the above is an understatement & I wished I had done this years ago!

I have used Jane Brown's services many times as she just works her magic every time in my home. Jane has styled all my bedrooms, lounge and dining rooms and study and has made it so homely. What I particularly like is that Jane really takes an interest in her work and works with your budget. She actually flew to the USA from Sydney to help us with a complete remodel of a 20 year old, high end motorhome. We had less than a month to complete the project on a budget, within a tight timeline as we had a film crew coming in to capture the finished result, so the pressure was on to deliver! She worked with us hands-on every day for 23 days straight. She had a vision of what the space would look like when complete, that I simply don't have the ability to do. She pushed us into new ways of thinking and seeing new possibilities, which took us out of out comfort zone and required trust, but we leaned in and went for it. And we are so glad we did! The end result is a masterpiece and we absolutely love our new home on wheels. It suits our style perfectly, and meets our needs in every way. On the last day, we were up against the wire, but Jane had the job done on time... just before the camera crew rolled in to capture the "after" results for a YouTube series we created for our RVLove channel. I knew as soon as I got a call back from Jane, that she was going to be the right person to help turn my very awkward basement into a stylish laundry/home office. We locked in a date and Jane was even more bubbly and enthusiastic than on the phone. We chatted for a while about what I want to use the space for. I showed her my home, so she could get a feel for my ‘style’ and then we went down to the basement. I cringe when people come downstairs, but Jane wasn’t phased. She loved the space and could see its potential. During the consultation, Jane made several recommendations for the space, incorporating my style and by the end of the session, I had video of all the design decisions we’d made. Thank you Jane. I love the concept. Now, I can’t wait to get started.

Jane arrived at our home with a huge smile, great warmth and wonderful sense of fun and energy. I adored her quirky style and willingness to think outside the box. We were soon "playing" . I especially appreciated how she embraced what we currently have, finding new places for them to be to change the feel of a room. Whilst we will work with someone else on the nitty gritty details of our kitchen project, I would love to have Jane and team back to inject some fun and colour into the space.

After our home was severely damaged in a storm we were at a total loss as to how to start again. Jane came into our home and from that first meeting we knew we were in good hands. She started from scratch picking a new roof, redesigning our foyer, choosing flooring and paint colours, lighting, rugs, cushions and more!
