We are installing this product shortly and I would like to know if any other members have used their own sealer on the benchtop to guard and reinforce the against any risk for staining? Thank you
Caesarstone quartz surfaces are virtually non-porous, and you will never have to use a sealer on it. If you do then the sealer you use may build up and oxidize on the surface and leave marks that appear to be stains. Just keep your tops clean.
We have this product as benchtop and backsplash coming up for 2 years. I think a sealer would ruin the beautiful honed finish. It is easy to clean - Enjo cloths and water has worked great for oil, red wine, tomato paste, curry powder. Marble paste gets the grey ‘pencil marks’ from the bottom of plates off no problem.
