I would be more concerned with how those two cabinet colours work with your wall colour and concrete palate. I think one will be more favourable than the other if you can put samples together. Also keep in mind what lighting you'll be using. Since if you have cooler colours then 'cool white' 4000K lighting will look best, likewise if you have the warm Alabaster colour then 'warm white' 3000K would be best.

I've been playing around with a pantry location. Originally, I was going to move the pantry into the laundry with some custom shelving and cut the laundry space in half. Now, Im thinking of cutting into the study area and building a wall there, and converting the new space into a long and narrow walk in pantry. Either that or build half a wall and put built in shelving in the study. Building the extra wall will reduce the need to cover in the door way that is currently in place and instead utilising it. Thoughts? p.s. this isnt too scale.

Hi Jeannie, I'm an interior designer in Sydney. What you're missing here is heights, plants and perhaps art, I doubled your art to show you how it could look. The tv unit is fairly low so you need to use some different heights to help it draw your eye up. The other unit you could use for plants and maybe some books. This is a basic mock-up I did to have you an idea, hope that helps.
