Triple Garage... What should I do with it?

Turn the whole thing into a music room
Leave it as it is
Leave the ground as it is and put some bedrooms on the roof
Knock the whole lot into one for an open plan living room
Leave the garage and turn the workshop and loo into a garden room
Turn the whole thing into a games room
Turn the whole thing into a library
Leave the ground as it is and put a games room on the roof
Refurbish the whole thing and use the rooms as they currently are

Comments (23)No-one seems to have talked budget . Where I'd start is actually leave the actual room as it is for a start . Eh ? Yep . Take down the nothing curtains . Go for bright colour curtains , depending on the rest of your house . Personally , I'd go for red , or white . Or red and white vertical striped . But yellow , orange , blue , green would all work . A leather lounge suite in white or red , or possibly black . A leafy pot plant in a colourful pot . And then -- a big abstract picture in complimentary colours on the brick wall -- around 1.8mtr x 1.2mtr or similar . Lighting -- stainless designer 12volt spotlights , 3 or 4 on each light . You can point and position to suit , highlight and hide features , and thge lights themselves look good without being instrusive or knocking your head . Comments (26)Hi Stan, thanks for your comments. Yeah I always put the outcome on my posts, I think is the least I can do as a thank you. The advice everyone gives is priceless. In another one of my posts I was prevented from making a big and costly mistake with my outdoor kitchen thanks to people’s suggestions so I am really thankful everyone’s input. I would have executed some other ideas here but given my budget and time constraints (we have a big get together next week and wanted to have it done prior) I decided to go with the easiest one for now. This will buy me some time to look for the perfect look (for me) whilst still having somebody of wall decoration in place. Re the corridor , is on the plan to add a skylight in the future. You know the worst part? This is a newly built home and I had asked for the skylight to be in the corridor but they misplaced and put it right in front of a big window, where no light is needed at all - and we didn’t pick up the mistake in the plants :(. Anyway, we will fiz it later when budget allows :). Would love to see the after picture on your corridor - only the before one was posted. Cheers...See MoreWhat should I do with the Gable?
Comments (4)That’s great. A new roof colour will look refreshed. Matching the 150 lines for the gable will look cohesive and I’d use Woodland Grey for the gable as well....See MoreTony McIntyre
