Need some advise on what colour to paint my bedroom. We will be putting reclaimed wood feature wall so I was thinking light browns but our carpet is a bluey/grey colour.
Either a white, or pale grey with a similar undertone to your carpet. Thats if you want to minimize it's contribution to your colour scheme. The timber and bed will take centre stage, ambient lighting will cast feature shadow, so let that do it to best effect with a white. Colour can work, but limit your linens etc.
If your carpet is a blue/grey colour and your wall is reclaimed timber, I have to agree with mldesign that you already have your feature wall. I would suggest Dulux Lexicon or if you want a bit more depth try manorburn by Dulux. ALWAYS get a sample first, especially when recommended by people via Houzz, as don't forget none of us can see the tone of your carpet properly! All the best. Look forward to seeing you put up the finish room.
