I have a couple of issues with dampness in my home which has caused damage to the render.
The first photo shows dampness coming through the render on the inside of my garage wall. The wall is only single brick so the dampness works it's way through. I am going to remove the damaged areas and patch with Acrylic render. I am wondering if there is a product that I can use to seal the wall that will stop the dampness coming through.
The second picture shows some areas that had rising damp I have had re rendered. I need to seal these so that I can paint over and am wondering what the best way to seal that area would be so that the dampness doesn't come back through.
Any advice would be appreciated.
