Guest bedroom and office layout dilemma
Comments (10)Hi Katie, can you move your office somewhere else while your guests are staying? Maybe put the bedhead under the window and push it hard against the left hand wall, that will give you about 67cm between the bed and the door, room to sneak in a small bedside table (if queen bed is 153cm wide and room is 220). Not ideal as the person closest to the wall would have to shuffle down off the end of the bed but it's a very tight space for a queen size bed. You could maybe then put a small chair or two and table against the wall between the end of the bed and the wardrobe for a sitting area for your guests. if your desk needs to stay would it fit along the wall where the bed head is currently? Assuming you don't want to swap the bed out to a double....See MoreAwkward corner in bedroom
Comments (30)Thanks LouieT I love it! You're so right, it's the first thing you see. I want it to be warm and welcoming. We are going with the floating shelves with heaps of plants and a few personal items. (We actually have a walk in wardrobe so the clothes hamper is hidden in there). Thanks for the beautiful items and ideas. We have small children who often like to explore our bedroom so we want to keep the floor as clear as possible at this stage. I might put a lambs wool on the floor with a nice looking box for toys or books. I'll post pics when it's done....See MoreVictorian Terrace Bedroom Storage

Comments (11)Not entirely sure what's going on here - it seems to be a big room with lots of space for more furniture - so, if you need more storage in the bedroom, get a bigger/wider dresser for the area in pic 1, move the TV out or hang it on the wall, put another dresser (no mirror) in the area where the chairs are in pic 2, and set up your robe in pic 3 so about half of it has two sets of rods, one about halfway down the wall, to hang shirts/blouses etc. Double the storage in that amount of space....See MoreWorldwide Timber Traders
